A Mighty Fine wedding!
Jeremy & Lindsey are clearly best friends. The time I have gotten to spend with these guys has always been easy and fun. Lots of laughs and nothing is too serious. Their wedding was much of the same. The guest list was small and it was a very intimate wedding. The best part for me was that Lindsey put together ALL of the decorations. I loved it. Very Anthropologie!
Thanks for having me J & L. Congrats!

It's a Jedi baby!
Josh and Annalee made my day when they asked me to shoot some before and after photos for Eisley, their soon to be baby! Love the name by the way. I shot their wedding a while back and am so glad they called me up for the next big event in their lives.
The shoot was going so well until I knelt down next to the San Gabriel River to get a low shot of them by the water, and I dropped my 16-35mm lens in! I was in shock for at least 10 seconds, with not a movement in my body. I think I almost fell in, or jumped in after it. Josh was insisting on jumping in to get it and I seriously considered doing it myself. It was too late. The water was nasty, the shoot had just started, and if I was able to find it on the bottom of that dark green water, who knows if it could be salvaged. I didn't want to think about it, but just get through the shoot. I did my best to keep it out of my mind for the rest of the morning and I was able to still have fun with Josh and Annalee, and Darth Vader (their dog).

Philip & Ashley
Philip (with one "L") and Ashley love to dance. And dance and dance and dance. This wedding was full of big smiles and even bigger moves. I had so much fun with these guys. The wedding was beautiful and fun and everybody was just so nice. I made friends with a bunch of Michiganians.
I love my job!

Jason & Kate
As soon as I walked into the room where the groom and his entourage were getting ready, I knew it was going to be a night to remember. I also don't think I saw Kate with a straight face all night. I know she was having fun, and that's all that mattered. Here are a few from the night:

Marcelo Nascimento
The first wedding I ever shot was for Marcelo and Athena back in 2008. Marcelo called me on Thursday at around 2 p.m. because he needed a portrait right away for some promo stuff. This is the kind of business that I hoped to have, one where clients return and refer! We were lucky to have Eddie V's in the Arboretum available to us for 2 hours yesterday. I haven't eaten there yet, but I have only heard great things. The shoot was a blast and I think we got exactly what he was looking for. Thanks again to Vanessa for helping out. She's always there for me.
Marcelo and Athena own Lucky 13 Cocktail Co. and have really started becoming well-known in the Austin area. You should check them out if you are planning a party or event.

Clark & Brook's wedding
After the engagement session and bridals, I knew this wedding was going to be fun. I had a great time with Clark and Brook doing the engagements, and not just because these two were so beautiful. They were very willing to take as long as we needed to in order to get the shots right, and they turned our great. The wedding was very relaxed and that always makes it easy to shoot. The ceremony and reception were held @ the Creekside in Driftwood, TX. The Salt Lick is just across the street. Is it a sin that I haven't eaten there yet? I know I need to. Cakes by Lori made the cakes and they were amazing. The shark cake was all eaten up within 5 minutes of the cutting so I didn't get to try it but I snuck a peanut butter ball. :-) Yum! The main cake was very good though. I wanted 2 pieces. The flowers were from Breathtaking Blooms, which were very simple and fit the theme of the wedding well. I really liked the Rosary, nice touch. Great day!
