Ernie & Nicole

I had a great time with Ernie and Nicole today shooting their engagement photos. We went to Dick Nichols Park in south Austin and got some amazing shots. There were lots of people there, as there should be on such a gorgeous day, but we were able to get everything done without too many distractions. I did step in dog poo, layed on the ground twice, walked maybe a mile and a half, climbed a tree and had a great time doing it! I will be shooting their wedding in October and it should be a beautiful wedding. Thanks you two.

"Object of My Effection"

So I have decided to start a project. This project will include a picture and brief synopsis of things that I hold dear to my heart. It will be called "Object of My Effection"........ Yes, I know I spelled it wrong. This should explain it better....... straight from the dictionary:
Ef*fec"tion\, n. [L. effectio: cf. F. effection.] Creation; a doing.

The objects are things that I love. The creation is the photography.

What better way to start than to tell you how much I love Chipotle burritos. They're huge! They start by adding the rice..... oh this rice makes me smile. A perfect balance of lime juice, salt and cilantro. I am not a fan of a lot of beans so I just tell them to put a little. Then..... steak. I have tried to get chicken or pork but I just get disappointed. Last time I was there I asked if I could even have some that was cooked to medium and they did. Just for me. How sweet of them. Next, pico de gallo. Yep. Love it. Then the spicy hot sauce. I can feel it burning my lips as I type. I always say,"If I'm not crying, it's not hot enough." Sour cream, cheese and avocado to finalize the deal. No lettuce for me. That's a waste of precious stomach space. Folks, I know some of you are thinking that I am just nuts for going on for so long about a burrito, but just know that you have your strange pleasures as well. Don't judge me.

My kids are growing up way too fast. Forming sentences, mimicking everything they see, saying part of the alphabet. I can't handle this.
